Your guys do a great job at keeping the atmosphere light and unpretentious without losing the professional edge!
East Coast Chris
To Danny Walker and Chris Carr:
What you guys do is nothing short of spectacular! American Supercamp is a huge bargain and everybody who rides a motorcycle should sign up immediately. I say that in all seriousness because BIKE CONTROL is the whole key to riding ANY motorcycle safely and well. Ultimately, bike control is what you guys are teaching and the lessons apply to anyone who wants to be a better rider. (Of course, the REAL reason everyone should go is because it's just so damned much fun!) Hats off to both of you on a job well done.
- Dave Despain, Host, Bike Week on Speedvision.
"I could be wrong, but I think I learned more about riding from this
than from any of the other schools or people who tried to teach me before.
Throw out your preconceptions about "dirt-track", or whatever. This
is about "bike control", and I can't think of any way to teach it
better.
Then there's the fact that it is just plain mud - encrusted fun. Where else are you going to get to have factory Superbike guys tickling your armpit into a corner? I crashed my brains out for two days and loved it: No bruises I can find."
Danny, Thanks!"
- John Burns, Senior Editor, Motorcyclist.
"When all was said and done, all of the students
were whipped but satisfied. I would estimate we spun somewhere in the
neighborhood of 1500 laps over the two days. Heck, I even got the flu after the
first day but came back to ride the next because I didn't want to miss out.
Walker and Carr provided a valuable learning process, yes, but they made the
learning environment about as enjoyable as one could expect.
Of the three schools this was my personal favorite. "
- Scott Rousseau, Cycle News, May 7th, 1997
"Walker and Carr's classroom sessions are clear and concise. Their humor and real-world experience bring the points home and they're very approachable and personable"!
- Lance Holst, American Roadracing, September 1997
"I honestly believe that anybody, that ever enrolls in this school will not have a clue, what to expect from your Supercamp. You are all super instructors. I feel that I am a 100 percent better rider now, than I was prior to your school. For that I owe a great deal of thanks to you all. My only regret of the Supercamp was that my main competition, in the Georgia Flat Track League took the same school and he "Got It" too. So much for any edge I could have had. Your friend always."
